I have a bunch of old shoes that are way to worn out to give to Goodwill or a charity, but I hate just throwing them out. Is there any group out there that takes them and recycles the parts or something like that?
Why not put them out by the trash can late at night. Maybe a hobo will find them.

does your place have any people who go around homes asking for things to recycle? maybe you can search for recycling places in your country and drop your shoes to them. Kudos for doing your part to saving the earth!

i think you can take them to a shoe store that fixes shoes and they may make you a good offer to fix them cheap if you tell them that you are going to donate them to the good will or some other charity .
