Online Shoe Store

I lift weights and I want a good pair of workout shoes. I like the New Balance and Oasics shoes. I'm leaning more toward the New Balance. Do you think New Balance and Oasics are on the same level as Nike (Shox) or Adidas?

Both NB and the Asics have good shoes, definitely as good as the others. Pick the ones that feel the best to you. Make sure they have good arch supports though: jump up and down flatfooted to feel which ones do the better job.

I have a bunch of old shoes that are way to worn out to give to Goodwill or a charity, but I hate just throwing them out. Is there any group out there that takes them and recycles the parts or something like that?

Why not put them out by the trash can late at night. Maybe a hobo will find them.

Any stores sell those charms for crocs?

Usually they have them where you buy the crocs. They are called gibits, or something. The place I got mine had hundreds of them, maybe you didn't notice them or something, there are also dollar stores selling them now, they are not the real gibits but the same thing.

i bought vans shoes online i want to know if i could return them at a vans store near by and get some different ones ….or what els could i do ,

You can only return them to the store you bought them from. So, if you bought them at Vans.com, you can return them in the Vans store. If you bought them somewhere like Pacsun's website, you can only return them to Pacsun, Journeys.com can only be returned to Journeys stores, etc.

Another suggestion is to check the packing slip and look at the return label for return instructions. Often times, websites will allow you free return service so you don't have to pay for shipping.

I bought some New Balance 413 shoes at a discount store, but I can't find anything about this shoes on the New Balance website or on RunnersWorld or anything. I don't want to run in something that's not going to give me good support (I've had injuries in the past). They say they're made for running, but if they're not even worth mentioning on NewBalance.com, then are they really OK? Any insight into these shoes is welcome.

any new balance running shoes are ehh at best. try looking into asics. i have bad knees and asics gel shoes offer a lot of support. or go to your local sporting goods store and ask them for recommendations on a good shoe.

Or does the jumpsoles and strength shoes work all of your leg muscles? I just don' want to have tone calves but my quads and hamstrings are very weak increasing the chances of injury.

Its good to work out your whole body. In fact great upper body strength plays a big part in getting a high vertical jump. It doesn't matter if you train every muscle at once or separately, just as long as you do train various muscles to keep up a health body.
